Carmel is a recently retired university lecturer and researcher, who spent two decades teaching kinder and more ethical approaches to doing business, especially in the area of employee and customer focus, frequently incorporating mindfulness and compassion practices into her work and teaching. She now spends her time teaching and guiding clients in meditation, mindfulness and compassion and forest therapy walks from a beautiful nature oasis in the Byron Bay hinterland area of Northern New South Wales, Australia. Becoming a certified CCT teacher has been one of the teaching highlights of her life and Carmel is honoured to continue to play her part in bringing more love, kindness, generosity and compassion to the world, through the continued cultivation of compassion.
