Amy Colvin first discovered compassion meditation through a Taoist teacher in the mid-1990s, and has continued her studies of mind-body wellness, meditation, and compassion cultivation since that time. She spent 12 years as a massage therapist at Google, and began facilitating meditation for Google employees in 2011. In 2016 she published a bestselling book: Cultivating Compassion: Simple Everyday Practices for Discovering Peace of Mind and Resilience. Inspired to help people help themselves, Amy offers tools and techniques that assist people with the process of cultivating self-acceptance, self-compassion, and compassion for others.
